Matapos aprubahan ng Senate impeachment court ang ilang hiling ng prosecution na ipa-subpoena ang financial records ni Vice President Sara Duterte, sinabi ng prosecution na dapat nang humingi ng awtorisasyon ang BIR Commissioner sa Pangulo upang maisumite ang mga kinakailangang record ng Bureau of Internal Revenue.
