The oldest goldfish lived to be 43 years old
In the U.K., a goldfish named Tish, the beloved pet of Hilda and Gordon Hand, died in 1999, making her the longest living goldfish, according to Guinness World Records.
The Hand family got Tish in 1956, after their son Peter won the fish at a fair.
