  • New Kanto Exploration: Explore the Kanto region in a completely new way, with a fresh storyline, new locations, events, quests, and updated graphics. Enjoy the new features using Generation 5 style graphics, animated Pokemon sprites, and modernized mechanics.

Pokemon Content

  • Generations 1-9 Pokemon: Includes all Pokemon up to Generation 9, including regional forms like Alolan, Galarian, Hisuian, and Paldean.
  • 27 Starter Pokemon: Choose your starter from any of the official starters from Generations 1-9, totaling 27 options.

Gameplay Features

  • Following Pokemon: Your Pokemon will follow you during exploration, just like in some modern Pokemon games.
  • Three Protagonists: Choose from three main characters: Leaf, Yellow, or Red.
  • Reusable TMs & No HMs: TMs can now be used as many times as you want, and HMs are replaced with key items to make the game smoother.

Game Modes

  • Classic Mode: Only features Pokemon from Generations 1 and 2.
  • Complete Mode: Includes Pokemon up to Generation 9.
  • Radical Mode: A more challenging version with Pokemon from Generation 9, tougher boss battles, and restrictions (like no bag items in battles).
  • Nuzlocke Mode: If a Pokemon faints, you can no longer use it. A challenging rule for hardcore players.

Postgame Content

  • Plasma Islands: After completing the main story, explore the Plasma Islands and hunt for Legendary Pokemon to strengthen your team.

Quality of Life Features

  • PokéVial, PokéRider, SuperTraining: Various helpful features to make gameplay easier and more enjoyable.
  • Pokédex with Bulbapedia-style Info: The Pokédex is updated to function like Bulbapedia, offering detailed information about Pokemon.

Additional Modes

RANDOM MODE

  • The Random Mode in the game is progressive, as you advance, stronger Pokemon will appear.
  • Each time you randomize the game, the randomization will be different.
  • Random Pokemon are generated continuously on the go, there is no “fixed set of random Pokemon for each area.”
  • Pokemon, moves, abilities, and items are randomized.

MONOTYPE MODE

  • To activate Monotype Mode, you must receive your starting Pokémon from Professor Oak and then speak to a scientist who will appear next to his lab in Pallet Town.
  • Monotype Mode is not compatible with Classic Mode. If you activate Classic Mode, the scientist will not appear.
  • Monotype Mode doesn’t include all types to ensure a balanced gameplay experience, as some types have very few Pokémon.
  • Monotype Mode does not make “only Pokémon of the chosen type appear.” The regular Pokémon will still appear, but choosing this mode will block all captures that are not of the selected type.
  • You will be able to capture Pokémon whose evolutionary line contains at least one phase of the chosen type.
