❓ Help Network Rack / Data Cabinet Question

Sa mga may network rack or data cabinet diyan, ano ang arrangement ng mga gears niyo?
May correct arrangement/stacking order ba? Or is it just a personal taste?
I mean, PDU is at the top or bottom? ρá†ch panel is at the top or bottom? Paano arrangement at stacking ng gateway at switches (Core and access)?

Ang naiisip ko kasi na stacking for now is:

Core Switch
Gateway
PDU

Planning to purchase a 9U data cabinet. Also, kakasya kaya sa loob ang normal UPS like AWP AIDE?

i don't think there's a single hard-and-fast rule. weight is one consideration, pero iisipin mo rin 'yung size. we have blade servers that are over a metre deep, at di convenient magkalikot sa ilalim nito. fully loaded, they also go up there in weight.

kailangan mo rin isipin kung saan galing ang feed - overhead o galing sa ibaba. it might simplify things.

we've mostly been deploying (note that this is an engineering lab, rather than a commercial network):

• AC PDU
• DC (remote-operated) power switches
• ρá†ch panels
• switch (to the core)
• all other devices
  • routers
  • switches
  • test equipment

the rack switches go back a rack (via ρá†ch panel) with a switch that has a fibre link to another switch, then to the firewall and router. all devices are available on the VPN for access to the different sites on 4 continents.

at home, i only have:

• router
• switch
• ρá†ch panel

i have an APC SMT-750i outside the cabinet, kasi nakahiwalay ang ONT. the UPS powers the ONT, router, switch, PoE injectors (for access points), and doorbell cam.

para saan ang "core switch" if you have the gateway in the same rack?

I'm planning to put all inside the cabinet, all the wires will come from below the cabinet.
Also, this is just for a homelab.

• 2x PDU in 2 separate rackmount
• Del wyse 5070 in one rackmount
• ρá†ch panel
• 2x HG8145V5 in one rackmount

pretty good set of gear for a home lab. if they're all in one rack, the arrangement is probably not that big a deal. madali naman naman pagpalitin, if you realise there's a better way. one question, though... where is the ρá†ch panel connected to (since all the gear is on the same rack)? perhaps i missed something...
