Umabot na sa mahigit 2,300 katao ang nasawi, mahigit 5,000 ang sugatan, at halos 16,000 ang nawalan ng tirahan matapos ang malakas na lindol sa Venezuela noong nakaraang linggo.
Ayon kay World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, inaasahang tataas pa ang bilang ng mga nasawi habang lumilipat na mula search and rescue patungo sa recovery phase ang operasyon.
