Hinikayat ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang Kongreso na gawing prayoridad ang pagpasa ng batas laban sa nihilistic violent extremism (NVE).
Kaugnay ito ng nangyaring shooting sa isang paaralan sa Tacloban City, kung saan sinasabing naimpluwensiyahan ng isang extremist group ang mga kabataang sangkot sa insidente.
