I have found an OpenWRT build compatible for the PLDT R051 (spoiler, di gumagana cellular, router mode lang)

Flashable sya using the tftpd64 na ginagamit natin for flashing the R051.
With the same IPv4 property na:
IP - 10.10.10.3
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
DNS - 10.10.10.123
After flashing, magrerereboot sya. Then, once nagstop na yung blinking ng red and blue light sa may second led from the left ay ibig sabihin tapos na ang booting.
Note: Matagal sya magboot. Mga more than 2 minutes siguro.
Then pumunta ako sa 192.168.1.1 and bumungad na sa akin yung Luci interface ng openwrt. It works.
By the way, make sure to plug your LAN port to LAN 1 otherwise di gagana kasi by default itong firmware na ito ay WAN yung LAN 2.
Anyways, gumana sya as a router. WAN to LAN.
Nung sinunod ko na yung guide para paganahin yung cellular connection, di gumana. Yun yung catch. Walang cellular. Router lang.
Eto yung sabi sa guide:
Upon checking sa ssh using lsusb, Marvell yung gamit nya na modem connected via USB hindi tulad sa guide na Altair yung modem. Base sa research ko, di ko sure kung tama ay RNDIS daw yung protocol na ginagamit ng Marvell modem connected via USB. Not sure on how to make it work kasi di naman ako expert sa OpenWRT.
Pero atleast kung gusto mong gawing router yung R051 mo pwede na rin. Don't expect a lot lang kasi 2.4GHz lang Wi-Fi nya.
If may mga experts dyan na willing kalikutin ito, you can try figuring out yung cellular connection.

- Go to Network > Interface
- Add new interface
- Edit again, change tab to Firewall settings
- Assign firewall to WAN
