PHSynopsis
After losing his father, Kang Seong Jae enlists in the military hoping to escape the emptiness of his reality, but his troubled attitude quickly earns him a reputation as a difficult soldier. Everything changes when a mysterious virtual “Quest” window suddenly appears before him, guiding him toward becoming an army cook.
As Seong Jae accepts the strange missions, he unlocks extraordinary culinary abilities known as the Eyes of the Chef and gradually transforms into the military base’s standout cook. But the deeper he progresses through the quests, the more he uncovers hidden corruption and secrets buried within the army—some of which may be connected to his father’s death.
Meanwhile, Yun Dong Hyeon, a senior sergeant infamous for his terrible cooking skills, simply wants to finish his remaining service in peace. However, Seong Jae’s arrival disrupts his routine, and despite his irritation, Dong Hyeon reluctantly becomes involved in helping him complete the mysterious challenges.
Blending comedy, mystery, and growth, the story follows Seong Jae’s unexpected rise from troublesome recruit to legendary army cook while exposing the truth hidden behind military life.
