Tama ka dyan for spotting the defects. AI is still at its infancy. May area na ok siya at may hindi, lalo pa sa laws. Hindi ko pa napiga ang Lexitary dahil bago sa akin. At wala akong time magtagal and mag-usisa sa laws natin he he—often just to get an idea and nothing else. Pero talagang hindi pa siya handa to be trusted fully. Actually, it's still learning by using the public queries as its additional knowledge, and the model must retrained again to avoid mistakes like you saw kasama yung knowledgebase nya. Maganda lang sila mag-sort, mag-fetch, mag-draft, mag-search, at mag-review, pero sa human judgment hindi nila mapapantayan yung tunay na lawyer. In short, they are just assistants or secretaries like any other app. Mentioned naman yan sa site.
Yung nakita mo is just one of many. Parang sa coding din yan. Yung html maybe a few yrs ago will not work today because of revisions of SDKs tht only apply to new browsers. Sa laws natin ganoon din. Yang AI may token limits sa pagpili ng best data to choose na dependent sa models. Yung utak ng tao, unlimited tokens, he he. Yan yung essence ng sinabi mo kanina.

Ayan nga boss, wala naman ako problema jan, sinabi ko lang opinion ko as a former law student & one who will be taking the bar this year. Ang problema eh prang kasalanan ko pa na nagsabi ako not recommended for law students 😅 kaya nga sabi ko sa earlier comment is need pa tlga sya ma enhance to the point na no mistake na or atleast manageable yung mistakes nya. Pati nga ALAC at CRAC method hindi pa nya kya may mga mali pa din, lalo na yung rule of connectivity sa CRAC.

Nag-collect din ako ng law apps pero github-based as law assitants. Gamit ko yung mga ganyang sites to get the grasp of laws in the legal sense sa personal research ko and comparing what you observe in the news. Great for studies, especially kung related ka sa batas.
Kaya lang, wala pa akong makitang site na mataas yung UGI (Ùn*énsøréd General Intelligence) to dig deeper on controversial and sensitive issues. May filters sila or guardrails dahil sa local regulations. Good for aspiring law students.....
Sa self-hosted AI mo makikita yung realidad with the right prompts, documents and database, side-by-side with them.

Malamang paiba iba talaga yung way ng pagsagot niyan, AI nga eh. Para ka namang now lang gumamit ng AI. Yung point is mali yung sagot niya sa ibang questions. Nakakailang tanong ka na, ako naman, ano background mo sa law?

Ang masasabi ko lang ay AI in any form is just an "assistant" reliable to a certain extent, depending on the data it is trained on, its internal knowledge, the sources available if used in an app, the tools it utilizes, its parameters like temperature/top-P/top-K, and the token limits (input/output) it makes use of to read, analyze, ...until it forms a response. The role of the user is to scrutinize its responses to make sure they are accurate and helpful. It still needs human verification. The more, the better, eka nga.
Kung nagawi yan sa di niya alam o limitado ang data niya, sasagot pa rin yan, pero expect mistakes here and there kung manghingi ka ng judgment. Trabaho na ng user na pumuna noon. Yan yung alam kong treatment sa AI, kahit pa sinabing magaling siya. Ang isa lang advantage nyan ay para mapabilis yung task (like data gathering/sorting/organizing...) na hanap mo for your review; hindi yung pagtiwalaan siya na di magkakamali hanggang sa legal judgment sa huli—zero trust parati. Every response is treated as "draft only" for audit and verification.
Kaya ang best alternative to use Law AI is to employ it as your data gatherer and sorter, and the rest is done by the use of standard human methods of law practice. Its opinion or analysis will always be taken with a grain of salt for "human" review.

Kaya ngani ikaw na mismo nag sabi AI nga nag kakakamali tapos hahanapin mo perfect na AI para reco mo ang point dyan need mo din i check kung tama ang sagot ng AI tsaka check mo may reviewer din yan para sa Bar Exam.

Agree ako jan, kaya nga sabi ko di siya recommended for law students kasi iba tlga yung way nya sa pag answer, as of now mali2 pa din tlga pati legal basis eh. Kaya kung sya gamit mo sa review or daily readings baka mamura ka pa ng prof mo.

Same lang sya kay case digestor boss ang akin lng naman is for law students di sya recommended tlga kahit anong ai pa yan dinidiscourage yan pati Supreme Court, mas ok pa siguro magbasa ng codals kysa AI, iba yung way ng law school sa recit eh, nagkakamurahan pa ng prof minsan, kaya kung ayaw ni law student mamura, much better magbasa sya. Yung point of view lng as law student yung point ko dito boss, for layman's pwede na sya pero syempre don't expect nlang tlga na lahat ng answer nya eh tama.
