🎓 Academic The Double Standard Nobody Wants to Talk About

Gildarts Tale

Eternal Poster
Let’s talk about the contradiction that people keep dancing around.

Biglang clinical. Biglang “clump of cells.”

Sa kabilang side naman, kapag may lalaking nagsabing babae siya, society is told:
“Respect that immediately. No debate. No hesitation. No biology needed.”

So alin ba talaga? Importante ba ang biology o hindi?

Kapag abortion ang usapan:
“Biology is complicated. It’s philosophical. It’s not really a baby.”

Kapag gender ang usapan:
“Biology is irrelevant. Identity is what matters.”

Nakakalito? Hindi. Nakakainis? Oo.

This is not about science anymore. This is about convenience.

THE DILEMMA (Ang Hindi Ma-solve na Contradiction)

Isipin natin logically:

Unborn human:
• May human DNA
• May heartbeat
• Nagde-develop ang organs
• May growth stages
• May future as a newborn kung hindi gagalawin

Pero ang tawag: Hindi baby.

ãdül† male na nagsabing babae siya:
• Male chromosomes
• Male reproductive system
• Male physiology

Pero ang tawag: Woman.

So wait… 😐

Yung developing human hindi pwedeng tawaging baby,
pero yung ãdül† male pwedeng tawaging woman?

Hindi ito compassion. Hindi ito progress.
Ito ay selective definitions.

Pinipili kung kailan magiging flexible ang reality.

Why the Language Games?

Simple lang ang sagot.

If people admit the unborn is a baby,
the moral weight of abortion becomes heavy.

Kapag inamin mo na baby yan, hindi na siya “procedure.”
Hindi na siya “choice.”
Nagiging life question na siya.

At iyon ang ayaw harapin.

So ang solusyon? Palitan ang salita.
I-soften ang language.
I-sanitize ang reality.

Because once you name something honestly… you have to face what it means.

The Bigger Problem

Kapag ang society nagsimulang baguhin ang definitions para lang maging comfortable, delikado iyon.

Because today we cannot define a baby.
Tomorrow we might not be able to define anything.

Reality should not change depending on what makes us feel better.

Little bit of sarcasm to end 😉

So apparently, calling a baby a baby is controversial now…
but calling a man a woman is mandatory.

Makes perfect sense. Totally not confusing at all. 👌
