Configuration Guide
Disabling Update Notifications- Navigate to Settings > About.
- Disable both "Notify" toggles.
- Launch SmartTube > Settings > Accounts > Sign in.
- Note the provided alphanumeric code.
- On a separate device logged into your Google account, visit
google.com/device. - Enter the code and select Allow.
- Fire TV / Google TV: Uninstall official YouTube; install the respective Amazon or ATV Bridge app.
- Other Android Devices: Requires Root. Uninstall official YouTube via ADB (
adb shell pm uninstall com.google.android.youtube.tv) and install the ATV Bridge app.
Known Limitations
- Stability of comments may vary.
- Voice search and casting performance is device-dependent.
- Casting requires the app to be manually opened on the receiving device first.
