Voice Search Implementation
To enable global voice search, a bridge application must be installed to intercept system calls. This requires the removal of the official YouTube application.- Amazon Fire TV: Requires uninstallation of the stock app and installation of the Amazon Bridge SmartTube app.
- Other Android TV Devices: Requires root access to uninstall the official package (
com.google.android.youtube.tv) before installing the ATV Bridge SmartTube app.
