TaskForge is a specialized document and file management tool designed for Obsidian users. It functions as a powerful file manager to locate, read, edit, and organize Markdown (.md) task files across internal storage, SD cards, or sync folders.
To provide real-time management of Obsidian vaults, the app requires "All files access" (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). This allows TaskForge to process nested folders, monitor for changes, and write updates directly back to your original files. Your data remains on-device and private.
