However, each MT update often includes both new features and bug fixes, and may even introduce new issues, making the "major/minor version" distinction less meaningful and prone to misunderstanding.
- For past few years, MT has maintained a roughly monthly update schedule, so using a time format better aligns with release pattern and makes it easier for users to immediately identify latest version.
