How to find a proper phone battery?

My LG G8 ThinQ would get laggy and hot when the battery percentage hits 15-20%, so I'm planning to buy a replacement in the future, but I never experienced doing anything like this. How can I tell if the batteries in Shopee or Lazada is working and is in healthy condition? I found 3 in Shopee and 2 in Lazada. The ones in Shopee had more ratings, most were positive, though to take into consideration how easy it is for a lot of people to give out 4-5 stars even for faulty products, I had second thoughts. The ones in Lazada only had ratings, no actual review or pictures.
