He joined hundreds of his own kind, who had been formerly citizens of the now ruined city, as they marched with their webbed feet toward the sea, heeding the calls of father Dagon and mother Hydra. He was welcomed by the restless waves as he waded in, leaving his humanity behind. The sea boiled with his kind – half men, half fish-frog beings. Slowly they were swallowed by their true home - the sea. Deeper into the murky depths he went where the darkness drowned his broken heart.
