Last October 1–10, I traveled to Japan from Vancouver, and the whole trip started on a high note, sobrang dali ng visa application process at libre pa. That alone made the experience feel welcoming even before I arrived. And once I got there, three things really stood out to me:
1. Transportation
Japan’s transportation system is incredibly efficient. Trains arrive exactly on time, transfers are easy, and navigating even busy stations feels surprisingly smooth. It makes getting around stress-free, even for first-time visitors.
2. Food
Everywhere you go, from convenience stores to small local restaurants, the food is consistently good. Whether ramen, sushi, or even simple snacks, everything tastes fresh and well-prepared—parang walang talo.
3. Cleanliness
Despite the huge crowds, the streets, stations, and public spaces are remarkably clean. It makes the whole environment feel safe, organized, and pleasant to explore.
