“GG” tells the story of “Set,” a boy who lives with his wealthy mother (Maricel Laksa-Panglinan) after the loss of his grandmother (played by Boots Anson-Roa). Set, who has a passion for e-sports, teams up with the rookie team “Tokwa’t Bad Bois” (played by Baron Geisler, Iggy Boy Flores, Gold Asiron, Johannes Risler, and Caleb Ong) to compete in a national tournament. The film follows Set’s struggles to adjust to his new life while also trying to succeed in the competitive world of e-sports.
