While it may not sound simple and not really needed for a "long investigation", as you may call it, it's better to take action rather than do nothing at all. These scammers spend money on purchasing a domain, setting up their phishing/fraud site, and going beyond technical means by spoofing a bank's SMS ID, so why not take action? Conducting a simple WHOIS search and submitting an abuse report to have their domain and website taken down is one of the measures we can take to combat these scammers.

What gives, you may ask?
- Masasayang ang pinangbili nila ng domain.
- Kapag na-suspend ang domain nila, magiging inaccessible ito. This help others too. Marami ang nalilinlang sa ganito and click lang sila ng click. If the phishing/fraudulent site is down, hindi sila mai-scam.
- The domain will remain on-hold and cannot be used until it expires. Ang domain, once suspended due to abuse, it is rarely restored, and it cannot be transferred to a different registry. This ensures na magiging useless na yung domain.
