time travel already existed ever since along with dimensional travel. sa totoo lang kung galing kang pinas papuntang US it's already considered time travel.

also, speaking of butterfly effect, hindi ba your sole existence here in our time alrady has big impact that can alter the course of "our" reality or timeline? The butterfly effect is named after a metaphorical concept in chaos theory: a butterfly flapping its wings could, through a chain reaction, cause a tornado weeks later. metaphorically speaking or translating that: ang isang maliit na pagbabago/action/event/etc ay may malaking impact sa future. so? why protect it if you already altered the timeline?
you already made a time paradox. before going back in time you should have been aware of this or you should be totally oriented in time travel... you already made a lot of disruptions by only existing here. supposedly, may taong ibang dapat na umupo sa inuupuan mo... kung hindi siya nakaupo doon may mangyayaring "iba"sa kaniya kasi sa ibang upuan siya napaupo. if that happens then everything will change. one effect affects everything. that's butterfly effect. you already made many altercations. siguro naman oriented yan sa kahit na sinong time traveler... you should've known. there are a lot of taboos for time travelers and you violated too many.

so what is your real motive in returing in this timeline? meron kang ulterior motive na hindi sinabi sa mga wordings mo e? tsaka hindi naman mura siguro ang time travel. it takes a lot of time, money, energy, etc. it's either you stole it or you're really an important figure to use your time gadget or machine.
