Actually, mostly ng phones ngayon is matic na nag rroaming mode pag nakadetect ng foreign signal, kaya kapag nagland na yung eroplano, may magtetext ng "Welcome to [Insert Country]!" then makikita mo sa signal bar is may signal ka and then may R sa taas, that means roaming mode is on na and makakareceive ka ng texts.

But i dont think many people still uses these roaming promos since napakamahal and napakaramming alternatives na for very cheap options like tourist esims, if not esim capable yung phone, may nabibili na physical tourist sim sa shopee/laz.
