Matanong ko lang po. Possible ba na magkaroon ng remote access ang mga telcom technician sa mga modem installations nila. Ung mga mismong ngiinstall is kaya nilang idisconnect ung user kahit na meeon parin silang subscription para tawagin ulit sila for repair? If thats the case eh pwde bang meron gawin para iblock sila or restrict sila na maacess ung vonnection.

Nope. Only the network engineers of the ISP ang may access diyan. Walang access diyan ang mga technicians/subcons.

And besides, bawal sa mga ISP na ina-access ang ONT/ONU without the permission of the subscriber (except kapag firmware updates). This is in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. Saka na lang nila ire-remote access and ONT/ONU kapag tumawag ka sa kanila ang nagreport ng problema sa connection.
