Autodesk Inventor Pro 2026.1 is the latest Windows release of Autodesk’s flagship mechanical CAD suite, officially launched on July 15, 2025. This point update delivers powerful time-saving enhancements—including intuitive Model States comparison, faster file-path access, dimension flipping, joint and constraint improvements, and better drawing annotation capabilities.
Improved Part & Assembly Workflows with Smarter Editing & AP Automation
Model States enhancements: select a row in “Edit Table” and compare with others—the differences display in light blue for clarity
Copy file path directly: right‑click doc in the browser and select “Copy File Path” to speed up file management
Sketching upgrade: flip dimensions or flip multiple dimensions at once; set new references when relationships break during edits
Assembly improvements: double-click to edit joints and iMates quickly; multi‑select faces to apply multiple constraints in one go
Drawing enhancements: reuse deleted detail labels properly; display same model dimensions in multiple views for better annotation
