Add, remove, or modify images with Generative Fill )). Enter text prompts to add objects and design elements to an image or when working with a blank canvas.

Generative Fill is now powered by the latest Adobe Firefly Image Model, which yields results with greatly improved photorealistic quality, has a better understanding of complex prompts, and generates more variety in results, so you can explore different directions.


    • Select the area where you want to add, remove, or modify content using any selection tool, like the Selection Brush tool .
    • Access Generative Fill from the Contextual Task Bar that appears, or go to Edit > Generative Fill from the menu bar.
    • Type a description of what you want to see created into the prompt text-entry box.
    • Select Generate and choose from the Variations that appear in the Properties panel. The generated content will appear in a new layer.

      Only variations that are larger than 1024 pixels can be enhanced.
