BODY OF MISSING DLSU LAW STUDENT FOUND IN CAVITE VACANT LOT
The body of Anthony Banayad Granada, a 25-year-old De La Salle University law student who had been missing since June 8, was found in an advanced state of decomposition in a vacant lot in Barangay Sapa, Naic, Cavite on June 21.
Granada was last seen leaving his condo along C-5 Road in Taguig City, reportedly bound for Naic via a Grab vehicle. CCTV footage later captured him walking along Lopez Jaena Bridge on June 17.
Authorities recovered a bottle of cleaning solution near the scene, but his personal belongings, including his cellphone, were found intact. His father, Ricky Granada, positively identified the body.
An autopsy and DNA test will be conducted, while police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
