PHLieutenant Colonel Christopherson Capuyan, 37th Infantry Battalion (37IB) commander, said the two NPA rebels, alias Ka Digbay, 16, and alias Ka Mario, 17, were arrested Saturday, June 21, in Sitio Muagan, Barangay Datu Ito Andong, Kalamansig. They belong to the NPA’s Sub-Regional Committee (SRC)-Daguma of the Far-South Mindanao Region (FSMR). “The continued recruitment of children by these terrorist groups is alarming and not only destroys their future but also places them in immense danger,” Capuyan said. “We condemn such activities and we are actively working to stop them for the sake of our youth and communities,” he added.
