If you're setting up Windows 11 and want to avoid signing in with a Microsoft account, here's a simple and working trick that lets you create a local user account during setup — no third-party tools, no patching.

Works perfectly on:
- Windows 11 Home & Pro
- Latest 24H2 build and previous builds (22H2, 23H2)
🛠 Step-by-Step Guide:
- Begin a fresh Windows 11 setup (from USB or clean install).
- When you reach the "Let’s connect you to a network" screen:
• Press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt - Type the following command and press Enter:
Code:
oobe\bypassnro - Your system will automatically reboot.
- After reboot, you will now see a new option:
"I don’t have internet" - Click that, and then click "Continue with limited setup"
- Now you can create a local user account and finish setup with no Microsoft login!
Why Use This?- No forced OneDrive sync
- More privacy and control
- Works offline
- Avoid tracking and unnecessary account linking
