The warrant was signed on May 8 by the Angeles City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 118 judge, according to the order that Rappler obtained. “After careful evaluation of the 11 separate informations, the resolution, and the supporting documents attached to each and every case record, this Court finds probable cause to hold all the aforenamed accused for trial for the offenses for which they are respectively charged,” said the order.

He may be protected by Non-refoulement while his asylum application is pending. But given how serious his charges are, hindi na ako magtataka kung ma deny yung application niya, which he attempted to evade justice.

So, do you think the Dutch authorities will fall for that?

haha they already accepted harry's application bossing, it means nakitaan talaga nila ng political persecution si harry, in fact sinabi ni harry na since nagka totoo nga yung mga claims niya sa initial interview it would instead strengthen his position as it would appear harry is actually telling the truth

But that doesn't mean that the Dutch Government has already granted his asylum request.

yes because it is a process bossing, they are still determining consistencies in harry's statements, at isa nga diyan yung kaso niya ngayon that would prove his statements of political persecution to be true lalo na't hindi naman talaga intended sa kanya yung kaso kundi nalista lang siya as co-respondent, given na andun name niya sa company na inaakusahan

Lol he's just evading justice here, tumakas siya during human trafficking investigations.

hehe as i've said accepted na application since may probability of political persecution, wala ka na magagawa doon boss umuusad na ang application and this warrant of arrest is instead proving what harry argued with the interviewer, and for sure isa-submit niya yung warrant niya sa next interview niya

Haha, I get the optimism pero chill lang! Dutch authorities could see it as him dodging legitimate charges, not persecution, especially with evidence like witness accounts tying him to POGO crimes. Non-refoulement keeps him safe from deportation for now, but if his claim’s deemed fraudulent, that warrant could haunt him.

There’s no public statement from Dutch authorities confirming whether they believe Harry Roque’s claim of political persecution for his asylum application. Roque’s asylum application is still under review, at ang hinintay ng Dutch ay solid proof na legit ang political persecution claim niya, hindi lang basta kaso.

no need public statement boss since yung ina-accept lang nila na applications is yung may probable cause

Accepted yung application yet under review pa ang kanyang application for asylum. That's the process, hindi yan similar ng formalities na nakasanayan natin dito.

haha tapos na nga makitaan ng probable cause bossing, umuusad na ang application, hindi na ito ang time to determine for probable cause kundi it's time to prove the legitimacy of the alleged political persecution ni harry na ginamit niya as reason from the start

mali ka din boss, harry is just quoting the international law

The case would tarnish heavily on his credibility, kaya wait na lang natin yung decission ng Dutch goverment.

Do you know any country who accept a refugee with human trafficking case?
