💡 Trivia PDP officially adopts Camille/Imee to the slate

The party made the announcement on Saturday, the last day of the 90-day campaign period for senatorial and party-list candidates. In a resolution released late Saturday night, the political party chaired by former President Rodrigo Duterte, said that “there is a need for more allies to protect the Vice President against impeachment.” PDP Laban also emphasized that it is “practical” for them to have a 12-person senatorial lineup. “[T]hrough their commitment to national interests, advocacy for social justice, and pursuit of meaningful reforms, has exemplified the principles and values that the PDP upholds, thereby qualifying [them] as a deserving and credible candidate to be endorsed by the Party for the upcoming elections,” the resolution read.
