I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6, running on 8GB of dual-channel RAM and it only has one replaceable slot. Does anyone know a budget-friendly yet decent quality RAM that is compatible for my laptop? I was thinking of buying the one from Crucial on their official Lazada store, however the stock ran out and the only store available is from IT World, but I was thinking of finding cheaper alternatives if possible. I don't have any perspective as to what is considered cheap when it comes to buying computer components, so I do need some help if the one from Crucial is already cheap and decent or if there is something better on the market.

Hi there! It's great that you're looking to upgrade the RAM on your Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 to improve its performance. When it comes to RAM upgrades, Crucial is known for offering reliable products at competitive prices. However, it's always a good idea to explore other options to find the best deal that fits your budget.

Given that you have a single replaceable RAM slot and are currently using 8GB of dual-channel RAM, you'll want to look for a 16GB DDR4 3200MHz module to maximize performance. Here are a few budget-friendly yet reputable RAM options you can consider:

1. Corsair Vengeance Performance Memory Kit: Corsair is a well-known brand in the RAM industry, and their Vengeance series offers good performance at a reasonable price point.

2. G.Skill Ripjaws Series: G.Skill is another popular choice among gamers and PC enthusiasts. The Ripjaws series is known for its quality and reliability.

3. Crucial Ballistix Gaming Memory: If you're open to other Crucial products, the Ballistix Gaming Memory series offers good performance for gaming and multitasking.

When comparing prices, it's essential to consider factors such as warranty, reliability, and compatibility with your laptop. While the Crucial RAM from IT World may be a good option, it's worth checking other online retailers or local stores to see if you can find a better deal.

If you have any specific requirements or preferences, feel free to share them, and I can help you narrow down your options further. Upgrading your RAM to 16GB will definitely give your laptop a performance boost, especially for multitasking and running demanding applications.

when it comes to RAM. it doesn't really matter where it came from. as long as it works. you don't need a decent or a good ram to get a better performance. the only thing that matters is it should have the same specs as your other RAM.
