The service live load of 40 kN/m is distributed throughout the entire length of the beam. Design the reinforcement of the beam. The compressive strength of concrete is 30 MPa and the yield strength of steel is 415 MPa. Concrete cover is 40 mm from the center of the reinforcement bars. How many 25 mm diameter bars are needed to reinforced this beam?
