PH“Dope Thief” follows two old friends from Philadelphia, Ray (Brian Tyree Henry) and Manny (Wagner Mora), who impersonate DEA agents to rob small-time drug dealers. Having met years ago in juvenile detention, they use fake badges and DEA jackets to carry out their schemes until one day they choose the wrong target. What should have been a simple heist for a few hundred thousand dollars leads to the discovery of the largest underground drug ring on the East Coast. Now Ray and Manny must not only escape the vengeance of dangerous drug dealers, but also face real agents and deadly threats. Along the way, their relationships are tested and every decision they make could be their last. With plot twists and breathtaking action scenes, the series shows how a small theft turns into a deadly game, forcing these two friends to face difficult choices: fight or flee?
