Sanayin ang critical thinking: Itanong: "Sino ang nagsabi? Bakit nila sinabi ito? May proof ba?"

Iwasan ang echo chambers: Huwag umasa sa iisang platform o page lang—diversify your sources.

Mag-aral ng media literacy: Alamin ang pagkakaiba ng opinyon, satire, at fact-based reporting.

Ang pagiging informed ay responsibilidad ng bawat isa. Kapag may duda, VERIFY bago MANIWALA!

The media has always been a venue of manipulation with regards to Political facts and opinions.

Nothing new. Sa kahit anong bansa payan. The problem here in the Philippines walang news outlets that has balance approach puro one sided ang story puro bias. And few lang sa kanila make sorry if false yung na post nila.

We need more independent journalist to fact check whatever media is displaying in the screen. Because weather we like it or not the media influences the masses faster.

Example na lately, mga EJK victims kuno. But if walang family related nga nag post ede hindi na expose. Kudos sa Philstar na they make amends sa fake EJK vctims.

Hindi naman talaga biased ang media. Oversensational lang talaga yung pamamaraan ng pagbalita nila. In short, OA.

Yung mga audiences ang tunay na may cognitive biases.

Halimbawa, kung pro-Duterte ka at may nakita kang news article against Duterte, pinipili mong huwag basahin or iscroll down nalang. Gusto mo lang makakita lagi ng mga good news about Duterte. Kasi may cognitive bias ka. It's all about ego ng audiences lang talaga. Illusion lang talaga ang pagiging manipulado. Yung ego mo lang din ang nag indoctrinate sayo.

time consuming mag fact check pero kung may value/impact sayo yung balita(probably sa buong bansa) then need mo talaga i fact check.

i beg to disagree kasi ganito ang hinahanap kong mga post dito sa PHC para i-bash, mas ini-ignore ko pa yung mga align sa views ko, pero pag against sa views ko interested talaga ako at di ko mapigilan na mag react sabay bash

tulad nitong post mo react agad ako haha mas masaya kasi yung may pinag-a-awayan kesa dun sa mga support support ka na lang kasi align na at wala ka nang iba-bash
