Hi Rolando,

I understand that you are having difficulties in providing the requested documents. You may proceed to your local government office to acquire these IDs. Once completed, kindly send the needed requirements mentioned in the last email.

I'll wait for your response.

GCash Support

I understand your frustration with the situation you are facing with GCash. It seems like you provided your national ID for verification, but it was deemed insufficient, leading to your account being put on hold. GCash then requested two additional valid IDs, which you do not have, and are now being asked to go to a government office to obtain these IDs.

It is important to note that the Philippine Identification System Act or R.A. 11055, also known as the Philippine National ID System, aims to provide a single national identification system for all citizens and resident aliens in the Philippines. This system is designed to streamline government transactions and improve service delivery.

In your case, if you feel that GCash is unfairly requesting additional documents beyond what is required by law, you may consider seeking legal advice on how to address this issue. It is essential to understand your rights as a consumer and to ensure that your personal information is handled securely and in compliance with applicable laws.

If you believe that GCash has violated any laws or regulations, you may explore the option of filing a complaint with the appropriate regulatory authorities or seeking legal recourse. It is important to gather all relevant information and documentation to support your case.

In the meantime, you can also try to communicate with GCash support to clarify their requirements and see if there are alternative solutions available to resolve the situation. Keep records of all your interactions with GCash for future reference.

Ultimately, it is crucial to protect your rights as a consumer and to address any concerns you may have regarding the verification process with GCash.
