Former Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea has been giving statements at The Hague for anyone who would care to listen that he’s being given the runaround on the whereabouts of Former President Duterte.
A lawyer, he’s directly accusing the ICC of a grand conspiracy, that the ICC is deliberately whisking Duterte around like a rag doll and treating him badly.
One, if there’s a specific law in the Netherlands that punishes anyone who undermines the ICC through public statements, I hope they bring down the hammer on Medialdea while he’s there.
Two, the former executive secretary might be forgetting that he’s a nobody in The Hague. He’s just some random Asian guy asking questions about Duterte. He is not even an immediate family member of Duterte, so why would the ICC be obligated to divulge Duterte’s whereabouts to him? Basic security protocols for high profile prisoners require that the whereabouts of the accused are not divulged to some random Asian guy who is not even an immediate family member. The ICC security officers are not that dumb.
Three, Medialdea has also forgotten he is no longer in the Philippines where the law only applies to ordinary citizens while people like him can make calls, make threats, and bend the rules to their favor. Not in The Hague where protocols and rules must be followed and implemented regardless of who you are.
Medialdea is an embarassment to the Philippines as it just shows how Filipinos of his stature do not know how to follow the rules because they’re so used to bending and ignoring the law.
You will not get your way there, Sir.
You are a nobody.
PS: Even here at Villamor Air Bse, he was handcuffed for his antics.
Nasanay kasing somebody sila sa Pinas kaya feeling nila uubra yang attitude nilang ganyan kahit sa ibang bansa
