Pareng Draft. Maganda yung suggestion mo. Makes sense dahil kalimitan ay nawawala na sa topic yung pag-uusap, at puro bangayan na lang na walang patutunguhan he he. Yung mainis talo, which doesn't prove anyhting substantial. Pero dapat may ground rules to stick to the discussion, and a moderator that knows how to control the members from going off the board on delicate situations:

Pinagawan ko yung AI system ko ng rules for this debate arena - might help:
I. Core Principles & Goals

  • Promote Respectful Discourse: The primary goal is to foster thoughtful discussion, not personal attacks or dominance.
  • Encourage Critical Thinking: The rules should encourage participants to analyze arguments, present evidence, and challenge assumptions.
  • Maintain a Civil Atmosphere: Even when disagreeing, participants should remain polite and professional.
  • Ensure Fairness and Equity: All members should have equal opportunities to participate and E×ρréšš their views within the established guidelines.
II. General Conduct Rules:

  • Respectful Language:
    • No Personal Attacks (Ad Hominem): Attack the argument, not the person making it. Instead of saying "You're stupid for believing that," say "I disagree with your conclusion because..."
    • No Name-Calling, Insults, or Derogatory Terms: This is self-explanatory.
    • Avoid Sarcasm and Passive-Aggression: These can easily be misinterpreted and escalate tensions.
    • Use Inclusive Language: Avoid language that excludes or stereotypes any group.
  • Respecting Opposing Viewpoints:
    • Listen Actively: Try to understand the other person's argument before responding.
    • Engage with the Argument: Address the specific points being made, rather than straw-manning or misrepresenting them.
    • Acknowledge Valid Points: If the other person makes a good point, acknowledge it, even if you still disagree overall.
  • Maintaining Focus:
    • Stay on Topic: Avoid derailing the discussion with irrelevant tangents (off-topic posts).
    • Avoid "Thread Hijacking": Don't use another person's thread to promote your own unrelated agenda.
    • No Spamming or Trolling: This includes posting irrelevant content, intentionally trying to provoke others, or flooding the forum with repetitive posts.
  • Ethical Conduct:
    • No Plagiarism: Always cite sources properly when quoting or paraphrasing. Claiming someone else's work as your own is unethical.
    • No Misrepresentation of Facts: Present accurate information and be willing to correct errors.
    • Avoid "Gish Gallop": Don't overwhelm opponents with a barrage of weak arguments in an attempt to make them too difficult to address individually.
  • Accountability:
    • Take Responsibility for Your Words: Be mindful of the impact of your posts.
    • Apologize When Necessary: If you make a mistake or offend someone, apologize sincerely.
  • Reporting Violations: Have a clear process for reporting rule violations to moderators.
III. Specific Formatting and Participation Rules:

  • Clear Titles: Use informative titles that accurately reflect the topic of the thread. This helps other users find relevant discussions.
  • Well-Structured Posts:
    • Use Paragraphs: Break up long blocks of text to improve readability.
    • Use Headers and Subheadings: Organize your thoughts and make it easier for others to follow your argument.
    • Use Bullet Points or Lists: Present information concisely and clearly.
  • Evidence and Sources:
    • Provide Evidence to Support Claims: Back up your arguments with credible sources (e.g., scientific studies, reputable news articles, academic papers).
    • Cite Sources Properly: Use a consistent citation style (e.g., MLA, APA, Chicago). Provide links to online sources whenever possible.
  • Quoting:
    • Use Quotation Marks: Clearly indicate when you are quoting someone else's words.
    • Quote Accurately: Do not distort the meaning of the original text by selectively quoting or taking things out of context.
    • Keep Quotes Concise: Only quote what is necessary to support your argument. Avoid excessively long quotes.
  • Debate Structure (if applicable):
    • Time Limits: Establish time limits for speeches and rebuttals (if the forum uses a debate format).
    • Speaking Order: Define the order in which participants will speak.
    • Rebuttals: Allow participants to respond to each other's arguments.

Hindi naman lahat yan ay applicable; but in general ay adaptable sa matino ang isip he he.
Yung di sumunod, automatically "out" sa discretion ng moderator (arbiter) or may karampat na parusa. Para yang "Fair Usage policy" for this type of discussion channel na mag-conform sa mga mahilig makipagtalo he he.

No po for me. :AnkhaPls:
Ngayon lang nagkakainitan mga supporters since may malaking ganap but the heat will subside eventually, so it's like "it's another day in the PH, hayaan na lang" ang ganap, as long as ireport ng mga iba ang wala na sa hulog na bangayan ng mga members during this "critical time" :BANGER:.
