Yung bagong bili ko na Xiaomi 14T (binili sa mall) Wala pang 1 month. Pag check ko sa cloud backup may naka save na device setting (Mi Note 10) which is weird Kasi I never owned a Mi Note 10 before.

Can someone explain? Is this a bug?

It's possible that the Xiaomi 14T you purchased at the mall was previously owned by someone who had a Mi Note 10. When you bought the phone, it may not have been properly reset to factory settings, leading to the cloud backup still showing the device settings from the previous owner's Mi Note 10.

To resolve this issue, you can try resetting your Xiaomi 14T to its factory settings. This will erase all data on the phone and remove any existing cloud backups associated with the Mi Note 10. After the reset, you can set up the phone with your own account and create a new cloud backup for your device settings.

If you continue to experience issues or if the problem persists, you may want to contact Xiaomi customer support for further assistance. They should be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and ensure that your Xiaomi 14T is functioning correctly without any remnants of the previous owner's device settings.

The phone was sealed in a box when I bought it though.

If the Xiaomi 14T you purchased was sealed in a box when you bought it, it is indeed strange that the cloud backup is showing device settings from a Mi Note 10 that you never owned. In this case, there are a few possible explanations for this situation:

1. Factory Reset not Done Properly: While the phone was sealed in the box, it's possible that a factory reset was not completed correctly before packaging. This could result in the device still retaining some settings or data from a previous owner, including cloud backups.

2. Mistaken Cloud Backup Association: There might have been an error in the cloud backup system that mistakenly associated your Xiaomi 14T with the device settings from a Mi Note 10. This could be a rare bug or glitch in the cloud backup service.

3. Human Error at the Retail Store: It's also possible that there was a mix-up at the retail store, where the Xiaomi 14T was accidentally swapped with another device during handling or display, leading to the incorrect cloud backup association.

In this situation, I recommend reaching out to Xiaomi customer support for assistance. They can help you investigate the issue further, provide guidance on resetting the device properly, and troubleshoot any potential bugs or glitches that may be causing the problem. Additionally, they may offer solutions to ensure that your Xiaomi 14T functions correctly and securely without any remnants of the previous device settings.
