Atornegigi the best you can do is find the model number of your Motherboard and check the usb cables if plugged properly(make sure na naka tanggal ang power cord sa OUTLET safety first) pag na check mo na then plug the cable power again and boot your pc...then try to check the drivers online (if wala kang cd drivers) and download the CHIPSET drivers for your motherboard and restart your pc wait to finish all the updating and try mo na. I'm sure it will work properly now

Your right but why not teach her to go bios? there you can find the model of mobo, instead removing the side panel and going through wires.

what "if" if the USB CABLES connected directly to motherboard is not properly installed? it's your pc is working properly then suddenly you inserted your usb and nothings happened? what will you do?
