Senate President Francis Escudero on Monday announced that the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte will start after the 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in July. SONA, I think, is on July 21. So the trial will commence after that day,” Escudero told Senate reporters.
