PHA 40-year-old man, identified as Eduardo Taghoy Jr., has been arrested by members of the Lapu-Lapu City Police and SWAT after a shooting incident in Looc, Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City on Thursday evening. Taghoy, a resident of the same barangay, allegedly went on a shooting rampage that left three people dead and one injured.
The fatalities have been identified as Junrey Balmocena Jamora, a 26-year-old photographer; Mary Anne Ciño, a lending officer; and a man known as "Ngangang Aying." Meanwhile, Antonio Sapotalo Jr., a 30-year-old construction worker, sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.
Taghoy was arrested in Jagna, Maribago shortly after the incident. Police continue to investigate the motive behind the attack as the suspect remains in custody.
