❓ Help From magisk v26.4 Updating to magisk V28.1 cause Bootloop?

hi guys I just ask some questions.

My device si running stock Android, and using magisk version 26.4. its safe to update this magisk version 26.4 to latest version 28.1 without problem? like bootloop?

Because before i install magisk v26.4 i tried first to install is magisk V28.1

its works without Bootloop but after activating Zgisk on magisk setting and reboot after that i received a Bootloop stock logo.

so i try to install first magisk V26.4 and on zgisk in settings and reboot, and i didn't received bootloop on Magisk V26.4.
Because i experiencing detected root in banking app even i followed the tutorial step by step
Tutorial - Use Gcash and other banking apps on your rooted device using PlayIntegrityFix new update!
So i deciding if its safe to update to V28.1 magisk with zgisk on.

It seems like you have encountered some issues when trying to update Magisk from version 26.4 to version 28.1 on your stock Android device. Upgrading Magisk should generally be safe, but it can sometimes cause bootloops or other issues depending on the device and setup.

Based on your experience with Magisk v28.1 causing a bootloop after activating Zygisk in Magisk settings, and Magisk v26.4 working fine with Zygisk enabled, there could be compatibility issues with Zygisk on your device when using the latest Magisk version. Zygisk is a feature that aims to improve performance and compatibility, but it may not work well on all devices.

If you are concerned about updating to Magisk v28.1 with Zygisk enabled, you can consider the following options:

1. Disable Zygisk: Before updating to Magisk v28.1, you can disable Zygisk in Magisk settings to see if that resolves the bootloop issue. This way, you can update Magisk to the latest version without Zygisk enabled.

2. Test on a separate device: If possible, you could test updating to Magisk v28.1 with Zygisk on a separate device to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to your device or setup.

3. Reach out for support: You can also consider reaching out to the Magisk community or developer for assistance. They may have insights or solutions to help you update to the latest version without encountering bootloops or other issues.

Remember to backup your data before attempting any updates or changes to your device to avoid data loss in case of any issues. It's always best to proceed with caution when updating system-level software like Magisk to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

Asking question in my device group in telegram is so useless, didnt answer anything there even many user questioning there.

did you try in app update? I found no issue with mine but it would always depends on device kernel and model. Doesn't mean it works with me then it will work with your device too.

na try mo na steps ko?
uhm... same tayo ginawa on previous update naka magisk 26.3 padin ako kasi last time na inupdate ko daming issue and nag resort ako to clean flash para lang maayos. but this time nung nag update si Gcash and other apps di na pasok yung safety net.
btw, naka latest version ka ni magisk sir?
