Well it's up to you naman, all softwares spy you.

As my experience la pa naman akong na encounter na issue, just don't log in. Name is enough.

You can try naman ung sinasabi mong tl legacy. Legacy Launcher na name nila ngayon. Refer to this website.

Di ko pa natry si legacy ehh, tlauncher pa lang. Ang isang napansin ko kay tlauncher naka bundle yan sa pag install ng apps pag mag iinstall ka for example mag shoshow opera uncheck mo na lang para di masama mainstall. Okay naman sa performance niya same as the original launcher.

If concern ka sa safety go with the legacy launcher.
