Mga lods, ask ko lang kung ano mga pros and cons pag MacOS ang ginamit mo sa laptop mo na pang windows, may luma kasi akong laptop gusto ko lang maiba. hehehe

depende sa hardware compatibility kung gusto mo mag häçkintosh, tricky and mahirap hanapin ung compatibility nya chances are if supported ung laptop mo or not.. better mag linux ka nlng considering old na ung laptop.

Ang cons naman compatibility pahirapan siguro sa mga apps and hindi rin optimize kase hindi nmn ginawa yan para sa ganyang laptop

kung naconfigured mo ng Maayos ang EFI para sa laptop mo, magiging smooth ang takbo naman nya, depende sa specs ng laptop mo kung anong version ng macos ang kaya nya.

yung isang cons ng sa macos ay battery life, hindi pleasant ang battery performance ng mga häçknitosh sa laptop.

though sa linux may app na nakakapag extend ng battery life(tlp, auto-cpu freq), natry ko dati, less than 5 mins na low battery laptop, natagal ng 30 mins sa linux

hello po, hacintosh user here! macOS Ventura 13.7.1 on Dell Latitude 7280 lappy (2017 model, Intel Core i5-6200U Skylake CPU)

Kung gusto mo talagang mag-experiment o tinkering out of your curiosity para lang mapagana yung macOS sayong pinaglumaang lappy, that need your mahabang pasensya kasi maraming kuskos balungos and prerequisites, simula palang sa CPU ng laptop kasi depende sa processor mo (gaya ng core i3, i5, i7 or even very ancient like core 2 duo) and yung generation niya , it also depends kung aling version sa macOS (catalina, big sur, monterey or ventura ang pinaka-stable, pahirap ng pahirap kung sonoma ug sequoia). kung pentium pa CPU mo, ambot na lang mukang mahirap na kaayo. and kung atom naman, you're even out of luck. Mga iilan lang din ang successful na nakapag-install ng macOS sa kanilang AMD systems. Others were iyak-iyak na lang and looking for a linux distro instead
Not all WiFi/BT cards tugma sa'yong häçkintosh. so expect na walang airdrop, walang handoff, walang sidecar.
Then, kailangan mo yung copy sa disk image ng macOS + recovery image pa, tapos yung opencore (na magsisilbing bootloader ng macOS), extensive search sa google, github or doomscrolling sa häçkintosh subreddit, then need talaga basic knowledge sa mga command lines, then i-configure pa ang EFI directory, so you still need to find the ACPI drivers and specific kexts for specific driver sa lappy mo from your keyboard, trackpad, wifi/bluetooth, audio drivers, and even your USB ports (need mo pa mapping baka di gumana) while ginagamit mo pa ung Windows OS, then edit pa sa "config.plist". May guide naman mula kay dortania for step-by-step process from configuration to installation (plus additional tweaks pa kung sakaling di gumana yung audio, yung trackpad etc., for the sake of full compatibility and smooth-as-butter experience).

Please do your research before you decide to install it. Aabutin ka pa ng at least 10 araw o higit pa bago mo mapatakbo fully with no problems ang häçkintosh sa iyong old laptop. Kung very successful naman, ma-amaze ka talaga sa wonderful experience sa GUI palang ng Mac, kahit ako ginawa kong daily driver yung häçkbook habang di ko pa afford yung MacBook Pro (for now. Caution lang po, you might still be tempted to buy one while you're using your new häçkbook, because the häçkintosh community is dying, the time is running out for Intel support, and they're prioritizing Apple Silicons, like the beefed-up M4 processor.)
