Good day! It's great that you're considering working while continuing your studies. It can be a challenging but rewarding experience. When deciding how many units to take while working, it's important to consider your workload, time management skills, and personal learning pace.

Given your situation as a second-year BSIT student, here are a few factors to consider:

1. Workload: Working part-time or full-time alongside your studies can be demanding. It's essential to assess how many hours you'll be working per week and how this may impact your availability for classes, assignments, and studying.

2. Learning Pace: You mentioned that you consider yourself a slow learner. It's crucial to acknowledge your learning style and pace. Taking on too many units while working may lead to burnout and affect your academic performance.

3. Financial Considerations: Since you mentioned that your tuition fees are increasing and your tita may not afford the next semester, working can help you financially. However, striking a balance between work and studies is key to avoid compromising your academic progress.

4. Support System: Having a support system in place, whether it's family, friends, or academic advisors, can be beneficial. They can provide guidance and assistance when needed.

Given the units you listed for your next semester, it seems like you have a mix of IT-related courses, general education subjects, and electives. It's a well-rounded selection, but it's essential to evaluate how comfortable you are with the workload and the subject matter.

Considering your situation as a working student and your self-identified learning pace, you might want to start with a moderate course load, perhaps around 12-15 units. This would allow you to balance work and studies without overwhelming yourself.

However, it's crucial to listen to your own needs and capabilities. If you feel that a lighter load would be more suitable for you to manage both work and academics effectively, then starting with fewer units could be a wise choice.

Ultimately, the decision on the number of units to take while working should be based on your individual circumstances, goals, and capabilities. It's important to find the right balance that allows you to thrive both in your job and in your academic pursuits. If possible, you can also seek advice from academic advisors or career counselors at your institution to help you make an informed decision.
