The team announced on Wednesday the isolation of high-purity lead-212 and bismuth-212 nuclides, which are promising for targeted alpha-nuclide therapy (TAT), a new treatment approach for cancers such as ******, pancreatic, and prostate cancer. Currently, the team is exploring the extraction of additional nuclides, including radium-228, thorium-228, and radium-224, which may further contribute to advancements in cancer treatment.
