Good day po. Bumili po ako ng secondhand iPhone 6 then I had to reset it, kaso may activation lock. Tried to contact the owner, he told me na nakalimutan na daw. Consulted also to a local repair shop, sabi WIFI use only lang daw kaya mabypass. May marerefer po ba kayo na nakakarepair na nagagamit pa SIM?

PS. May signal pa siya.

Hello! It seems you're dealing with a common issue regarding the activation lock on an iPhone 6. Since the previous owner has forgotten the necessary information to unlock the device, and you've already reached out to a local repair shop, let's consider some possible solutions.

### Official Solutions:
1. Apple Support: The most secure and recommended approach is to ask the previous owner to remove the device from their iCloud account. They can do this by logging into iCloud.com with their Apple ID and removing the iPhone 6 under the "Find My iPhone" section. If they've truly forgotten their details, they can try to recover their Apple ID or password through Apple's recovery options.

2. Proof of Purchase: If you have a proof of purchase showing that the device was legitimately sold to you, you could approach an Apple Store or contact Apple Support. They might be able to help remove the activation lock, especially if you can provide evidence that you are now the legitimate owner.

### Unofficial Solutions:
While some shops offer services to bypass activation locks, these methods can be risky:
  • Legality: Bypassing an activation lock without the original owner's explicit consent can fall into a legal grey area.
  • Functionality: Most methods that bypass an activation lock might limit the phone's functionalities (e.g., no cellular network, no iCloud services, etc.).
  • Security Risks: Your device might be vulnerable to security risks if the software has been tampered with.

### Recommendations:
  • Contact the Seller Again: Encourage the previous owner to try recovering their Apple ID or to assist with the proof of purchase if they’ve forgotten their credentials entirely.
  • Apple Store Visit: If possible, visiting an Apple Store with the device and proof of purchase can sometimes result in a resolution, especially if you can demonstrate that you are the new owner.

### Conclusion:
It's generally safer and more reliable to resolve these issues through official channels. If those aren't successful, and you choose to explore other methods, please be aware of the potential risks and legal implications involved.
