Impeachment Complaints Against Inday Lustay

Inihain na ng mga miyembro ng civil society organizations, religious leaders, sectoral representatives, at pamilya ng drug war victims — ang kauna-unahang impeachment complaint laban kay Vice Pres. Sara Duterte sa Kamara.

Nakahati sa limang grounds (culpable violation of the Constitution, graft and corruption, bribery, betrayal of public trust, at ibang high crimes) ang 24 na articles for impeachment.

Ilan dito ang patungkol sa paggamit sa pondo ng Office of the Vice President #OVP at Department of Education #DepEd — mga ahensyang hinawakan ni Duterte.

Kasama rin dito ang umano'y pagkakasangkot ng bise sa extrajudicial killings, at pagbabanta sa ilang matataas na opisyal.

Sa ilalim ng House rules of procedure sa impeachment proceedings, may 10 session days na isama ito sa order of business ng Kamara, at saka tatlong araw para i-refer ito sa komite.

May 60 session days naman ang komite na magsumite ng report sa plenaryo, at saka 10 session days na ikalendaryo ito para sa resolusyon.

Base sa House calendar, mag-a-adjourn ang Kongreso sa Dec. 20. Babalik ang sesyon sa Jan. 13, 2025 at muling magbe-break sa Feb. 7. Sa June 2, o pagkatapos ng #BilangPilipino2025 elections, na babalik ang sesyon. #News5
