DISASTERS REVEAL THE BEST, THE WORST, AND THE WOEFULLY UNINFORMED AMONG FILIPINOS

DISASTERS REVEAL THE BEST, THE WORST, AND THE WOEFULLY UNINFORMED AMONG FILIPINOS

1. It’s baffling how naysayers, especially the DDS propagandists and minions, who embody some of the worst Filipino traits during calamities, can’t seem to understand the basics of our disaster response system.

2. Before pointing fingers, maybe they should learn that our disaster management operates under a clear framework, established by Republic Act No. 10121, the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010.

According to this law, LGUs are designated as the first responders in any disaster. Why? Because they’re on the ground, closest to the crisis, and able to respond swiftly with a clear understanding of local needs.

3. The national government only steps in when an LGU is overwhelmed or formally requests assistance. This prevents unnecessary disruption.

4. If you've followed the past statements of BBM, he draws from his own experience as a governor. He said that immediate national government involvement can often do more harm than good.

When national officials intrude without coordination, LGUs are forced to redirect precious personnel and resources to host and assist them, which ultimately slows down the local response.

5. This is the law, and it’s a law designed to protect lives and make disaster response more efficient and effective.

6. But here comes the haters and the DDS minions -- the types who are ALL complaints:

They show us what it's like to be the worst during a calamity: blaming and mocking the government, pointing fingers, undermining any government efforts, splicing statements to make it appear the president is clueless on what to do, etc.

Instead of rallying around a system built to save lives, they choose to attack with zero understanding of the process. But, what do we expect from them?

7. Kudos to the president and the national government for following the system and keeping responses efficient and coordinated.

⭐️Please read the president's statement on the national government's response to this calamity.

8. Perhaps the "critics" should take a hard pause and actually educate themselves on the law and its purpose.

It pays to read, to know, and to understand why the national government's response is not in real time. Because that's just the SOP.

9. I think it’s clearer than ever: to be a DDS, you seemingly need to be profoundly misinformed, allergic to reason and objectivity, and embody the absolute worst of human nature when the country is in crisis.

So it's okay pala on that day mismo kung saan papasok ang bagyo tsaka na gagalaw🤣
Why not earlier?

yung iba di inakala ganun mangyayare kasi nasanay na, kaya learn in a hard way.
pero either stick to the plan o assess kung san mas importante

Please ask the local officials on the area. They were already informed a week before lalo na galing sa PAGASA.
Nakay bangag ang mandate.

Pero okay na yan boss. On that day mismo yung action.🤣
With the help of flood control projects.

tinatago mo kasi, pinuputol mo ang story, wag kang cherry picking, expose mo both good and bad, obvious naman na part pa yun ng story
Iba kasi yung focus mo...hehehe

nasanay ako to look at the bigger picture bossing instead of just cherry picked episodes

A smaller part is also a part, and is also an important when it comes to investigation. hehehe

Tsupeee....
