PHDOOM, initially released in 1993, is a white-knuckle, fast-paced demon-slaying action game. This first-person shooting game equips you with the bare minimum ammunition needed to kill all the demons on Mars. In the opening minutes of the game, you (the protagonist) would be waking up from a deep slumber from within a sarcophagus and encountering multiple possessed Mars zombies. For all the dispiriting satanic imagery and brutal violence, Doom is paced charitably. Environments comprise corridor sprawls spanning various stages of rocky hellish islands or industrial mars facilities. You can spend a lot of time exploring the environments searching for secrets or yellow keycards.
