3. Enable Data Sharing on your phone: Some phones require you to enable data sharing or allow internet access via USB tethering. Check your phone's settings to ensure that data sharing is allowed.

4. Update Drivers: Make sure that the necessary drivers are installed on your laptop to recognize the phone's internet connection. You may need to download and install specific drivers for your phone model.

5. Restart Devices: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Try restarting both your phone and laptop after setting up the USB tethering.

6. Check Network Settings: On your laptop, check the network settings to ensure that it's set to receive the internet connection from your phone. You may need to manually configure the network settings to use the USB connection.

7. Firewall/Antivirus: Sometimes firewall or antivirus settings can block the internet connection from the phone. Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your laptop to see if it resolves the issue.

If you have tried these steps and are still facing issues, please provide more details about your phone model, laptop model, and any error messages you are encountering so we can further assist you in resolving the problem.
